It is our pleasure to welcome you to
Saint John Lutheran. We pray that you have been lead by the Holy
Spirit to participate in the life and ministry of this
congregation.
Our worship service centers on Word and Sacrament. First,
we gather to hear the Word of God, brought to life through the
readings and the sermon, where, with the intervention of the
Holy Spirit, we realize that Christ is present in our lives,
just as he was present in the lives of others nearly 2000 years
ago. Then, we gather around the meal of Holy Communion. During
the meal, we pray that Christ will continue to be present with
us through the bread and wine, uniting us with all the people of
faith around the world, from generation to generation.
Together, we celebrate the forgiveness of sins, which has been
freely given to us. Together, we celebrate the gift of eternal
life, which is allotted for us through our faith. Together, we
celebrate our ability to worship and give thanks to Jesus
Christ!
Saint John Lutheran Church is an
